data cable?

    hey does n e one know wat a dta cable is for the xbox

    Most likely the data cable would be an ethernet RJ45 cable (cat 5e) like you use on a wired network. This cable plugs in the spare socket on the back of the xbox. The one that looks like a big telephone socket and is used for xbox live. (You should find one on your pc also). There are two main types depanding on how you connect.

    Xbox 2 PC: an ethernet CROSSOVER cable

    Xbox 2 Router 2 PC: an ethernet PATCH cable

    Sys link, xbox 2 xbox: an ethernet CROSSOVER cable
