Sorry I posted that pretty late.... what I mean is with my roxio cd creator it has a option to make a data dvd my question is what is the difference between a "data dvd" and a movie dvd? The option says "Use your dvd recordable drive to store up to 4.7 GB of data." I guess what I'm asking is what would this be typically used for???
Essentially, use data to create a DVD with a lot of files on it. Use movie to create your own movie. You dont really have to worry about it too much
Data dvd is like proggies etc. Mp3 files are considered data files. Movie dvd is just that......movie. You can pack a dvd with 4.7gb of data..i.e. backup programs, document, mp3, folder, whatever. cheezzzz_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Just another lonely Hawaiian with: P4 2.66Ghz, 120gb HD (7200rpm) 2X512mb DDR333 (PC2700) SDRAM Sony DVD RW DW-U12A(OEM for DRU500AX) DXCXpress v2.01 online Smartipper/DvdDecrypter Dvd2one/Nero 551035 Enterprise Ed[/small]
