Hi All, My SONY Laptop crashed. It has WinXP Home edition. Running System Disk formats the entire HDD. Is there a way I can recover the data on the HDD ? Thanks Sunil
Yes there is if the drive will still turn on.\ What you need is an external enclosure for 2.5"(size of laptop hdds). You will just need to plug it up to your computer via USB, turn it on and it will display itself an an external hard drive. Transfer what you need and toss the bad drive or turn it in to the company if it's under warranty.
