dbox2 help stuck in kein system

i have just flashed commando 7.5 to my dbox2 and it has suck on the kein system and cannot get any furtehr with it dont know what I have done as i aint used to this I am a novice & really stuck.

can someone tell me how to start to do it all over again from scratch thanks

 

You need to get a copy of IFA
and reflash with that mate ..............Paul

 

where can I get a copy of IFA , I have been trying to look on the net for one and cant find it anywhere. I can send you my email addy if you want Cheers Paul

 

even when I plug the nox in I cant do anything even with the remote control, cant even see the screen .
I have took a note of the IP address just in case i did this to it

 

The ip address is no longer valid if you are in a kein system mate
As for IFA check your mail..............paul

Haven't messed with dbox for a while but i think kein system means its not in debug mode and won't take a flash

 

how do i get it into debug mode , at the moment when i switched it on from the plug it dosnt do amything except a message appears kein system and cannot turn it off via the remote. I have even tried to flash with IFA and a message there says ERROR 10048FUNCTION BIND ADDRESS ALREADY IN USE, MY IP ADRESS IS 192.168.0.101. NOT SURE AS TO WHAT IP TO PUT ON THE IFA FLASHING AGENT FOR THE D BOX

 

AM USING A CROSSOVER CABLE VIA MY LAPTOP & IN THE IFA IT ASKS ME IF I AM USING A NULLMODEM CABLE WHICH I AM NOT THEN STILL NOTHING

 

If you have more than 1 netywork card installed in pc
Disable the one you are not using for flashing........Paul

 

somehow I got it working but cannot scan for any channels. I DONT KNOW THE ...............NETID, SYMBOL RATE, FREQUENCY for the Manchester area,

Just set your location Via the blue button

dont know what I did to get it working but thanks Paul ur a star. PS I have got commando-9_x2-28-10-2007 on the box now but for some reason ontly the normal channels , I cant get the sports,movies, and the others they seem to come up as locked with a key (yellow) bottom r hand corner. tried to to cam change nothing happens

 

You need to insert the keys into that image to acsess all channels ..............Paul

 

how do I insert the keys to the image I am running commando 9. I presume I have to connect the 2 together via a crossover , but not sure on how it is done

 

One thing to add when it was stuck in kein sysem I pressed the on off button with the up button on the dbox and for some reason it flashed the image so i will keep that in mind for references
