Hi, i bought a dbox2 (debugged for UK) and have tried setting it up today. I have managed to set my location and scanned for the services. I get over 250 channels after the search has finished but the picture does not show. i have searched several times using the 3 different cable providers and the same thing happens. Any help/advice that can be provided will be greatly appreciated. Regards
hi m8 most of the images are fta you will need to flash with a full working image,blade quad is the best at the moment.
You should still get BBC1 and ITV Wot image is it mate Is the time correct in the LCD Display.....................Paul
Hi, I hope I can piggy back onto this message, I have been searching all night for an answer to my problem. I have the Nokia DBox2, I used to get all the channels no problem, but I haven't used the box in about 6 months. Now I have tidied out the front room, I find that it only picks up the Free channels. (I have a 'TheBox PVR' upstairs which works on all channels fine.) I did a rescan and it picked up all the channels, but wont let me see them, again just FTA channels. It is ages since I have used this box, I though I remember typing in a code to access a secret menu for a emulator setting, but I forget how to now, I am running a sportster image.. but I don't know too much aboutwhat it does or anything. Any guides or info would be great. Cheers
Ideally, someone who could do the mods... obviously for a fee, would be great. I live Leicsester area.
Upload the patched rom files to var/keys and let overwrite the old ones. Reboot the box. Btw the scan procedure has no affiliation to the descrambling of the channels.
