My mate has gave me his dbox2 to try and sort out. Basically its not booting up! It comes on the screen saying neutrino or something like that but then just switches itslef off! any ideas? ive tried re-flasing a new image but I cant get the damn thing to connect to pc! I have IFA on my PC but unsure what to do regarding the NULL modem bit..its asking what 'port' am I using??!!?? any ideas? ive read the guides and it does not cover 'ports' etc!
Hi Paul, I don't use a null modem cable to flash my dbox2 (Sagem 1x), I use the latest version of IFA (although the older one still works a treat) and use one of the following: http://rapidshare.com/files/3510828/flashimage.img http://rapidshare.com/files/8170492/flashimage.img Make sure you set your network card up correctly, use a crossover ethernet cable, disable any firewalls and any other network connections you have and you should be able to flash ok.
