DDE when running actual disc?

    I thought DDE was only a hdd problem it's starting to become a disc problem I don't get what the hecc do i need to do update my X and do it all over again I just want to know what causes the dde error when playing the actual disc?And how to fix it.

    you've got it backwards! DDE(dirty disc error) is basically stating that your game disc or dvdrom drive is dirty & having trouble reading the game disc. Has nothing to do with the hdd. Could be an actual dirty disc or drive or your drive may be starting to fail. If it's a 1.0 version xbox, it's probably the drive malfunctioning.

    Go to www.divineo.com and get a new dvd-rom for your XBOX for $30.
