After my PC started doing interesting things i decided to reformat my harddrive(WD1200) since it is partioned into two blocks and one of the is all of the recovery files for Windows XP Home, anyways after reformatting the HD i accidently connected another HD to my pc as a slave (WD2500). now my computer wont even recognize my first harddrive, and it seems that the WD1200 HD wont even start with all the cables turned on and all, i troubleshooted and my cables are all fine the problem lies in the HD. i have no idea why it doesnt work any opinion or suggestion would be helpful, thanks

was the wd1200 as a single before as it sounds like the jumpers for master/slave is set wrong. the colored wire on the ide data cable should be right beside the hd power connector.
