Just like the waves I guess its possible to patch XGD3 games to XGD2. Was on a Warez forum and found this. It can be burned on a DL Disc and you dont need a JTAG 360 to play it and the possibility of getting banned is is probably the same as playing wave patched games. Just googled Dead Island XGD2 and it turns out some copies of the gaame are Wave 12 XGD2 and playable on 1.91
yea, nothing has been 'patched' so you should really change your thread title to something like dead island xgd2 version found.
i thinks its odd there two different disc types. unless maybe they are testing the waters still. you know seeing how many problems come up from the new disc type before going all out with it.
almost same thing with dues ex, wave 11 and wave 12's were found. just depends on where they were pressed at really.
I really hope the PAL disc for space marine is on a normal disc and region free like dead island. I got the faith!
I still wonder if this is a good way to get flagged. Where was this disc found really? what if it was released else where besides the US. or maybe only one area got it.
yea see that worries me. If the XGD3 version was only shipped to the US and they have a way of knowing which disc type is being played i could see that as being a cause for a flag. plus all of a sudden 100's of people start playing the XGD2 version that was never shipped to the US. Im not saying this is true, but a thought i had.
I guess someone would need run a retail version through ABGX. You know since it was Jtag only before i never saw any screen shot of ABGX with Dead Island. So maybe it never really was.
They either sent out different batches of discs or someone got their hands on a UK/Australia release early (those versions don't come out until Sept 9). Seeing as how it's already verified through abgx, I'm going with the first option.
I tried to copy Spacemarine and Driver for the 360 but i couldnt even put it on my computer using xbox 360 back up creator. Is there something new to copy these new games or are they still working on it?
Played about 2 hours and had to turn it off grafix are kinda cool but the game play is pretty boring with all the back and forth going on!!! Hopefully Rage will be great even thou it's gonna be 3 disks...
