This happens all the time!!! it drives me crazy, i got a corrupted hal.dll at first and just fixed that, not it restart when windows just finish loading. Repair windows option is not available, is there a way to force it? I tried running windows xp in safe mode and install xp, but it keeps telling my key is not correct. So i tried Vista, but i didnt have a key, so i just choose the no key option which i need to activate in 30days or it wont work anymore. But it says cannot upgrade in safe mode! Is there any way to bypass this, i read around alot n there was ways to swap mobo through microsoft software, but mine is dead. I have no clue!!! Please HELP. THX!!

What problems do you have exactly? Your motherboard keeps failing? You have constant windows corruption issues (hal.dll)?? You can't install a new version of windows?

Sorry for the late reply. I figure it out though. My problem was that Windows didnt work on my new mobo. This happens all the time when replacing mobo, its mainly the chipset n stuff. I tried to restall windows through the repair option becuase i didnt want to loose any info. I searched the fourm here and someone mention something about sysprep. I googled that up n saw someone's guide on replacing mobo with different chipset. I went to safe mode delted all my old drivers and let windows dectect the new ones. After that it still didnt boot, so i used sysprep n now it works.

Edit: Shit I signed in to my friends account again.
