Dead The Box PVR

Hi

A bit worried about this box,

it came with EURO connections and NO POWER ADAPTER, Have tried My 2 pronged shaver adapter. No power at all.
Is it KAPUT or should i look for a proper adapter?

They are made for "euro" connections.. Will they even work in other places?

Shaver adapters are only 1 amp, no good for the PVR Power. I bought a Travel Adapter with a euro to UK plug. box is now fine

Could you help me please?
I am having trouble formatting my hard drive in my new The Box PVR.
Could you please advise me as to how you installed your box. The instuctions that come with it are not clear.

Please help.

First of all you need an IDE hard drive, it must be set as MASTER see the instuctions on the hard drive to set the jumper.

Then insert the hard drive. making sure the red ribbon of the IDE cable is next to the power plug. Plug in all leads and secure the hard drive.

Fire up the PVR Goto menu. then goto HDD Interface, goto format input the key password ( default is 0000).

Thats it .. done if it fails let me know you may have a dead hard drive.
