I have been having this problem with DVD decrypter and DVD shrink. It doesn't matter whether I burn with Nero it Dvd decrypter or Sonic. Sometimes the movie works fine and sometimes it freezes completly or simply says "No play". Is it my DVD player or the media I am using or am I doing something wrong? I followed the DVD Decrypter guide and it still didn't work! PLease help!

Memorex Media is not good. I have wasted money on them.
Try Verbatim. Best Buy sometimes runs sales on these keep an eye out for sales. 50 pack for $20.00. Its a great deal!!!!

If its not too late. est Buy has some on sale tonight. look

They might have some next week aswell. Good Luck Let me know how it goes. Also don't buy TDK either their junk aswell.

I agree about the Memorex-R. I think the 8x are made by CMC mag and 4x by Prodisc (or maybe the reverse). On my burner, the CMCs would only get a decent write at 2x. Get some good quality media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Sonys are also pretty good if you can't find the others. And keep you write speed down to 4x. The little extra time it takes is worth it in the long run. Have a sandwich while you're waiting.

2 big no no's, memorex and burning at max speed. If buying online try verbatum datalifeplus's or ty's. If buying local try some verbatum dlp's, fuji (made in japan), sony's or maxell's. Stay awaw from memorex, HP, phillips, bulkpaq, no name brands, and retail store branded media eg. staples, compusa.

You're welcome and good luck. You shouldn't have any problems with either of those media's burned at 4x. You can probably burn at a faster speed on those if you decide to try a few. I still burn at 4x even on premium media just to insure less chances of write errors.
