There is your problem for sure... Try some better quality media :)

Read the thread in my sig intitled Newbies---> This will give you some info about media quality. also there are thousands of posts in here about the horrors of using Memorex or CMC disks..

You could also try reducing the target size in DVD Shrink because it looks like the problems are accuring at the endo of the disk. Try adjusting it down to 4300MB and see how that works out

    Cheers

OK, thanks. I had the same problems using Roxio whether I used the most expensive DVD+Rs or the cheapest so I went with the cheapest. There was no difference in the actual quality of the movie so I figured if I'm going to keep getting screwed up DVDs I might as well as save the money.

BTW, If it's the media, why doesn't it happen when I use CloneDVD and why do all the other DVDs I copy come out perfect? Also, if it's at the end of the disk, why does it happen at 26-29% of the burn process? What's the rest of the time?

I was assuming it was happening at the end of the disk by your log file if its happening at 29% in then it is something else.. You also didn't say you had Roxio before. i would totally uninstall Roxio and then give it another try. Roxio doesn't like to play well with other burning proggys..

I removed roxio a couple weeks ago because it was messing up iTunes, Windows and other stuff.

I don't think so, but how would I tell? I happens more late at night when it's cooling in the room than it does during the day when it's hot in here, so I really doubt it.

the error tracking servo failure is more of an hardware problem than a software,
try using something else to burn with
you said you use clonedvd2,.....use that instead to burn the iso,i find it much better anyways, and burn at the slowest speed you can

Yeah, I'm trying to remember to use CloneDVD when copying (at least until my free trial runs out). I was just kinda hoping there was something in the settings I could use to fix the problem with Decrypter since it's free.
