ok when I open the program I get the list on the side that shows all the files. But when I click the "DVD > Hard drive" button it just sits there and I keep getting a error that can't read or something. I ignore it but it keeps doing it. And I can't find a good site that says how to use this program.
Just trying to make a copy of a movie. I have DVD Shrink but I get a error that says can't read disc so awhile back I got DVD Decrypter and tried to use it for the first time today. But when its trying to make the _TS files it just sits there and I get errors. So now I'm trying DVDFab HD Decrypter and it seems like it getting stuck on the same thing. I don't know if its a copyright thing or what that is doing it. here is the error I get from DVD decrypter I/O Error! Device:[1:0:0]LITEON DVD-ROM LTD163 GDHG(D(ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation:Check Condition CDB: 28 00 00 0F 3D 77 00 00 01 00 Interpretation:Read (10)-Sector:998775 Sense Area:70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 11 06 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: CIRC Unrecovered Error and I can pick Abort, Retry or Ignore I click Ignore but it will just keep coming up after it tries the file 20 times
sounds like you need a ripping software dvd decrypter is old not updated get dvdfab hd decrypter or anydvd then use dvdD, but would recommend with anydvd cloneDVD 2 do you also have a drive that can write dvdrs? as this wont = Device:[1:0:0]LITEON DVD-ROM LTD163 GDHG(D(ATA)
Rotary is right. Time to upgrade. Dvdfab Hd Decrypter http://dvdfab.com/download.htm A guide to use that walks you through the process. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154 Try ripping just the main movie and process through FixVts before using Shrink.
More than likely you have a bad disk, it is either scratched or has some unreadable data problem. Take it back and get a new one.
