If you're in the initial stage of decrypting, decrypter can't read the disk or doesn't like it altogether.

If you're already burning, you have the wrong media to burn on to.

Your burner doesn't like that brand of media. Switch to a more reliable brand.

You may also need a firmware update. Could you please post the whole DVD Decrypter log, not just part of it?

Are you using a cdr or dvdr? I'm assuming you're burning a movie, right?

    [bold]E 16:14:18 Failed to Write Sectors 7840 - 7871 - Write Error[/bold]

Check the coaster you just made, does the burn (burnt part of the disk) go all the way to the edge? Can the coaster be read by a stand alone player, or parts of it?

However, that still doesn't explain the "incompatible format" error.

    Very strange.

I'm stumped, you need to give us more info.

Try updating the firmware of your drive.

Maybe you have a bad batch. It does happen.

Probably better to do another test run or so, with different movies, and see if you get the same result.

    Let us know.

A bad batch of TY's??? Hmmmm that would be a new one to me... You could possibly have fake TY's, but I doubt that from mertline as many here have used them without any problems. Like I said try updating your firmware.

i have had a very limited success with these discs 3/20.
when i updated my firmware thats how i had 3 successes. 2 back to back then a few coasters then 1 more success
most burns will make it 50% or so then give the same error of incompatible format????
