I realize we're a long way from resolution as to who's going to ultimately win the battle in the format war. My question is two-fold: 1) Will there be recordable storage media for either of the new formats? 2) Will anyone bother to author decryption packages? Until these questions are answered adequately, I like thousands of others will wait til the dust settles.
1) Both formats plan to release recordable media next year. Both already have working prototyps. 2) Don't know. Ced
