Hi does anyone know where i can get the original software that came with starview the box (before it got flashed to work with cable) as i would like to use it as a normal freeview box with a rooftop digital ariel, I am led to believe it can work this way instead of through cable, Any help would be much appreciated.

all firmware`s are in HERE but i dont think it will make any differance what type you put it back or on
as far as im aware you get 4-5 freeview channels, you may get more just of your ariel

its a cable box and is designed to work with your suppliers signal, not an aerial, this is not a freeview box either, you wont get the orginal firmware that was on the box, not available, in a nut shell, it wont work for what you are trying to do, time for the bin

or you can get a Kryptview A780 which will work in your area once it is changed to N3 or you could get the starview 6 or combo but the server spends more time down than it does up so the choice is yours
