I am new to all of this and if i am repeating a question i apologize. I tried searching but could not find an answer. I succesfully softmodded my x box and have the FTP set up and working. I am trying to install XBMC and have gone through the walk thru already. My issue is i have to transfer the default.xbe file onto the xbox but the files i have downloaded for it are all missing this one. i transfered all the others without the xbe file but when i reboot my x box it doesnt show up as an application. Any help would be aprreciated. Thx
what dashboard are you using...either way you will need to create a folder on you e drive called Apps...after that get the XBMC folder and ftp the whole thing into the Apps folder.... if that is what you have already done then you will need to check the ini files on your dashboard and see what location they are looking in for the application....
The dash is unleash x and i made an apps folder. The default.xbe file doesnt even show up xbmc folder
