I have captured some video unsing premiere 6.5 (on windows XP) and it looks great in there and also when using windows media player.. problem is when I burn a DVD, the video is interlaced and I see all the jaggies. What can I do to deinterlace? I forund a freeware program called VIRTUALDUB but when I play the video I deinterlace with the program is it choppy and not smooth like the orig. any help would be appreciated...

I also use Premiere Pro 6.5 and I found that you had to select de-interlace when you export the initial avi file.

Then when you convert to mpeg you should see a much improved picture.
i.e. the horizontal lines etc should be gone.

Hopefully I've not misunderstood your problem.
    Good luck.
