deleating xp

    Hi all you clever people out there hope someone can help.
    After installing a new hard drive iwish to install windows 7 on the new drive and then deleat xp is that possible and how is it done a, BIG thanks. DC.

    delete xp 1st before installing win7. boot from win7 dvd, delete partition, make new partition, format partition & continue install of win7.
