delet 2_nd hard drive

Ihave 2 hard drives.One 40 G on C: and a 100 on D& E . My problem is when i copyed C: over to MY 100 G,HD USEING PARTITION COMANDER,IT MADE A8 mb,hd forD: & 93G for E: i would like to elimenate the D:& use the full drive ., so i will have 2 drives C:&D. I went in to disk management, when i clickon D: Then properties iget options to delete or format, iam not sure what to do! I can't seem to format it in PART. COM.i HAVE XP HOME ON BOTH DRIVES.I have in cluded 2 jpeg files , ihope they open.Iwill recopy win xp if i can format the hole drive, THANKS XBILL
