So the guide I was reading to softmod my Xbox told me to replace my EvoX with XBMC so... I did, and now I'm pretty screwed because well obviously, it got deleted... So I tried doing the softmod over again and it doesnt load the EvoX installer, it just goes to XBMC... So I tried deleting XBMC and trying it again, and I got the lovely "Contact customer service" screen... So, I have XBMC and no EvoX... Help, please!

Oh wow. It looks like you don't have any .xbe to boot from.
Can you boot a game at all? Try loading the softmod again. Also, lets hope you backed up your eeprom.

    Try this:
Try loading any game at all. If it works good.
Then try loading the Exploit (were not looking for the exploit, just checking if it works).
If it does work, try installing it. If that works, then good!

    However, if that doesn't work..
    Download the AID ISO here:
http://www.aidtracker.com/ (you will need some sort of s Bittorrent client)
Burn the ISO to a disk with Imgburn after it is done downloading.
If the game loads in your Xbox, then SUCCESS! Install any dashboard you'd like.

Something to note though: If you did "Dual Boot" when you first softmodded your Xbox, then install your hacked dashboard to the E: Drive, and install the Microsoft Dashboard to the C: Drive.

No, I FTP'd XBMC Back onto my xbox, but when I load the Splinter Cell exploit, if XBMC is installed, it loaded XBMC, and if its not installed it gives me the error screen...

Then FTP the EvoX dashboard? If you can't find it, then extract it from the AID Disk.
Just letting you know XBMC is better, but you like what you like.

Right but I would like both of them, and I really have no clue how to "reconstruct" the evox stuff though I have all of the files... and by the way, I did back up my eeprom... I have everything from my MS Dash backed up, but Evox installed bios, and im not smart enough to figure out how to get it to boot from the MS Dash and nothing else...

You turn on the XBox by opening the tray to get to the MS dash.
If you want both dashboards, then might I suggest you install one as an application?

Sorry I'm so uneducated on the subject... But if I delete XBMC completely and load an empty DVD try, Evox comes up with 2 choices "Launch Disc & System Settings" Apparently i deleted the rest, and don't know how to make them come back...

So this is the problem... I deleted everything on my HD except for my backups and my MS dash... and it still boots Evox... I don't get it, the only thing I know is when I installed Evox it changed my bios, and I assume thats why it still comes up...
