    Please help !!!!

I need to know how to delete a pesky .dll.
I deleted Adobe Acrobat 7.0, and want to totally delete it before
I re-install it, but I cannot for the life of me get rid of:

    acroiehelper.dll

(I have Windows XP, SP 2)

I would appreciate any help I may get to accomplish this task.

    Thank you very much.

In order to delete some dll files, they must first (not be used by another program that is running) be unregistered from Windows.

You can do this by going to Start, Run and type in:

    regsvr32 /u acroiehelper.dll

Then, you should be able to delete the file. If not, reboot then try deleting it.

This site here gives you an option of adding RegSvr32 to your right click menu options.
