I don't quite follow. What happens if you just use the DELETE button?

When you just 'Delete' using the Recycle Bin and 'Empty Recycle Bin'
Data is never really gone from your PC. I use a tool called ERASER:

    http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/

It completely erases Data from your HD for Good.

Yea but things like that should be used with confidiential infomation. I don't think Music files count as confidiential or top secret data. If your worried about the RIAA then maybe you should format your drive.
