Hi, I put video on a DVD-RW and now want to delete it. When I try to delete it in windows explorer it says read-only.......why? I thought you were supposed to be able to delete files off RW's.

Deleting files from a DVD RW is a bit different than deleting them from your HDD.

Most DVD writing programs contain a tool to erase DVD RWs. Try one of those.
Here is a link to ImgBurn which can do this:

Put your DVD in your burner and open ImgBurn then...

Select Tools > Drive > Erase Disc.
