Hi wundrin if one of you disk geniuses could answer this for me. Dell cds are only able to run on dell systems. I have a w2k reinstalation cd which has such a lock on it. Can i unlock it or rip it to a cdr so giving me a backup disk for my other system which had the os pre installed. THX ramu$
i also have a dell comp and dell CD's that only work on dell comps i gave up trying to figure out hw to use it on another comp because thats illegal lol but wat i do is copy the entire CD to an image file and then burn back to a CD this over runns the copyrighted prevention techniques put on the CD_X_X_X_X_X_[small]mEwZ...ExPeRiEnCe[/small]
