Dell computer with Windows XP Problem

    When I start my Dell Optiplex GX 150 (windows xp service pack 3) it stops loading and goes to a blue screen that gives me a message:

    Stop: C0000139 {Entry Point Not Found}
    The Procedure entry Point
    GdigetBitmapBitsSize could not be located in the dynamic link library GDI32.dll.

    I have rebooted the computer several times and tried to run it in safe mode with no results. Please help me out.
