i have a dell inspiron 1501 and i have gone through hell with this thing. the system i know can function because i have a temp method of booting it and its just quite annoying. not the thing is that i have a crisis disc usb drive. when i want to boot the computer all i have to do is hold the end key with the battery out and flash the bios. after that i put the battery in and it will restart after the flash and work fine. when i shut it down though it wont work anymore and needs to be re flashed. does anyone know what might cause this to happen or has anyone had this happen to them. any help is greatly appreciated.
