Dell Insprion 1000 laptop shutsdown

    I have a dell insprion 1000 that shuts down after startup. I am runing windows XP. It gets to the windows startup screen then shuts down. Does not seem to matter if I have it plugged in or not. Any ideas or help is appriciated.

    Make sure you dont have CPU overheated.
