Hello, i want to know how come when I connect or try to my dsl connection threw my lap top it always gives me a dns error. The connection works fine on my desk top. My ethernet port on the lap top lights up and the computer says that it is connected but I still get a dns error. I also tryed resetting my modem and still nothing. Please Help
did u go throught the connection wizard to set up a connection or just plug and go im not certain but i think that dsl needs a user name and pass to connect so if you didnt set up a new connection with this info that might be why ur getting the dns error
