Man, I feel like an idiot, but at least I know I'm not the only one who has problems with the Denon Remote. That was about the only negative I could find, but man it's annoying. So I get really, really tired of walking up to the receiver every time I want to switch between the DVD player (for audio and video source), or the tuner, or CD player, etc. I want to be able to first select the audio source, and then select the video source (feeds are on different channels). How do I do this on the remote? On the receiver, I turn the dial for the main source (audio first), and the hit the little "video source" button underneath the dial to select the video source. However, I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to do this with my remote. I've tried hitting the "Source" button on the remote, and then hitting the appropriate item on the keypad (as it says a source above the numbers), but it always tries to do something with the current component selected (i.e., TV, DBS, CD, etc.). Can anyone help? Thanks, - thephatp
I wish I could help you but I have a 3805 which has a totally different remote .... not a good one either! I know a guy on the system with a 2805. I'll PM him and see if he can help you out...I know he doesn't usually read the receiver posts.
