Hey guys i know every1 here is smart and this should be a easy problem.I d/l a rar of destroy all humans ps2 and when i opened it there was 3 folders {Blocks,Modules,Movies} then there was a slus file and a system speed dial file,in the modules folder i found a bunch of irx files and there is a image file there but it is only 269kb and will not open with iso buster? any help on how to burn this? thanks
First of all I need to inform you that, All these folders and files you mentioned above are the contain of the actual game itself. Maybe you should try this first, use NERO burning and select "Make Data DVD" and then add all of those files you mentioned above to it. ({Blocks,Modules,Movies},slus file and a system speed dial file). You don't have to click in to the modules folder to copy those irx files or image file that only read 269KB ok? Just copy those {Blocks,Modules,Movies folders},slus file and a system speed dial file will do. Then after that you may try that burned DVD to your PS2. If this still doesn't worked please send me another message and we will go from there ok?
k thanks, i know its the actual game just had no clue how the hell to burn it =) im trying the nero thing u said and its telling me something about creating a multisession so im going to see if this works..
first off, dont know how you got the folders in the first place. you must have extracted the rar files too much to extract rar files, all you do is right click on the first rar file, and select "extract here",...(i seem to be posting this a lot lately)..maybe a guide on rar files is needed.. anyways if you still have the files/folders etc you need to use [bold]nero burning rom[/bold] select new then select udf/iso option,(bottom left) drag the files/folders over into the left hand panel [bold]do not select "multisession disk",[/bold]..make sure that option is unchecked burn away
Does the order of file placement matter using Nero? And who else is having audio problems in which certain sounds and lines are not heard during cutscenes?
Hi defcheck, just do as what Hursty mentioned. If you do it correctly like what he said then everything should be alright. First of all, create a New Folder on your desktop name it according to the name you wish. Second, right click on to the part00.rar or if no 00 rar then select to the part01.rar (Right click to it and select option Extract file) then extract it by select to that new folder which you created. Third, after extracted that winrar part 001 then try to open it. I'm pretty sure that extrated winrar in the new folder this time should be an iso rar. You don't have to open it or unrar it at this stage. Just ignore it for the time being. Forth, open your nero burning rom. Then select the option DVD-ROM(UDF) then over the multisession option select No multisession and then click on to the NEW button at the top right. Fifth, you will be prompt to where you need to select a file to burn. Now what you can do is select to that new folder which you extracted the winrar. Double click on it will show you the rar file in iso image. Sixth, drag that iso rar file to the relevant column to ready burn it. Oh yea...sometimes when up to this stage you will be prompt and said something like this is a single image bla bla bla....just follow what it ask you to by selecting yes and click next... next. Seventh,....finally if you are not prompt to ask something like single image bla bla bla....then just forget bout this. Click directly to the Burns the current compilation icon. .....and its DONE!! Enjoy!!
i always drop them in,in the same order as they appear in isobuster, but i have my doubts whether this matters or..but i dont want to try dropping them in a different order,in case i waste a disk but i can say i have opened a game image before a rebuild, and took note of the order of the files, i have then rebuilt the game and burnt it, then re-opened the rebuilt game image expecing the order to be the same, but to my suprise they were different, so who knows?? i am starting to figure it dosnt really matter what order thay are placed, when i have some spare disks i may give it a go
