I can send a guide for [bold]Nero 5.5.9.9[/bold], which I think is identical.
The first thing I suggest you is to enable the [bold]Wizard[/bold]. This by Choosing [bold]Help____Use the Nero Wizard[/bold].
Then, after the start or choosing NEW (the first icon on the left), the Wizard begins.
It will ask these questions: press '[bold]Next > [/bold]' to advance:

    1. 'Please choose the medium you would like to write with your recorder' (CD, DD CD, DVD). If you don't have a DVD burner, only the first will be lit (the others being grey).
    2. 'How would you like to continue?' (---->Compile a New CD, Copy a CD)
    3. 'Now choose your format. Which kind of CD would you like to compile?' (Audio CD,---->Data CD, Other CD formats)4. 'New choice. Would you like to:' (---->Create a new data CD, Continue with an existing CD data (multisession))
    5. 'Final step. After selecting the 'finish' button a compilation window will appear. Select the files from your CB by using 'drag&drop'from the file browser or the Windows Explorer. Select the button in the toolbar to start writing the CD. (Burn button is 8th from the list). [bold]Note: first select the proper write speed: higher is the speed, lower is the probability to have bad data[/bold].

Audio CDs is identical, but you select only .WAV/.MP3 files in the compliation window. To erase a rewritable media I suggest to press 'cancel' when the Wizard begins, then to choose [bold]Recorder___Erase ReWritable[/bold].
