Hey. I just downloaded (and installed) the dev hook 0.40 Sampler Launcher...i followed the "basic settings" for running an ISO and i ran "Fight Night Round 3" (and the UMD i used was the 2.0 Demo Disc UMD). Everything works fine (i.e. i can browse the web, listen to music, view pictures and play the Fight Night Round 3 game) but whenever i try loading dev-hook again it says "This Game cannot be started, the data is corrupted". and everytime i insert the Demo Disc UMD it reads it as Fight Night Round 3. So what do i have to do to use another / load up ISO??? and how do i return back to 1.50.
thats because youer still emulating the 2.5 firmware. hold the off switch up for 20 seconds and let it turn off, take out the battery and put it back in. see if that works, also i recommend upgrading to 0.42b
First off devhook .40 is way outdated you should download version.41b with VSHEX mod.Without the mod would have to reboot your psp to exit emulation. now you can press Home and Square. I am not sure what your problem is but a new version of devhook may fix it. Devhook:http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/612 Modhttp://www.psp-hacks.com/file/617
Ok - thanks =) after browsin around the net (and returning here) i found out what i need to do eo exit. So thanks for your help - i'll now update to dev hook 0.42 =) and for Fight Night Round 3 all i did was put it in a folder called ISO and used the basic settings (the Wi-Fi settings) and everything worked fine. i didn't need to change any files and its a 361MB Iso in-case your interested.
Yeah was just currious cause I'm gettin fight night 3 right now . Did someone put a fix out for the new devhook when you exit a game it dosn't hang up and make me take out the battery?
I never knew that was a problem. I can exit out and go straight back to the XMB. They have updated devhook to .42b tho
I never heard of that problem. It could be the ISO you are using. For example whenever I use Daxter I can never use HOME to exit. But you don't have to take the battery out, just hold the power button for 10 seconds. I got that message too when I tried to run NFSMW for the first time. But then I changed the 2.XX-->2.00 setting.
