It seems a bit random as devhook 0.43.1 only came out yesterday/today? I think the best thing is to wait for one of those full packages of devhook 0.44 to come out. There are no games that need 2.71 anyway, so you aren't missing out on anything by only having 2.60

Haha, as if I just said "ONLY having 2.60"...emulated on my 1.5!
We have all become spoiled! Already itching for 2.71! Let us be very thankful to the PSP gods that we have 2.6!!

"1. Download Devhook 0.44 and put everything on the memory stick as usual.
    2. Download the 2.71 Firmware update from our site.
    3. Open the EBOOT.PBP with PBP Unpacker or similar and extract the DATA.PSAR file.
    4. Put the DATA.PSAR in the root of the memory stick.
    5. Run the included Devhook installer on the PSP (install flash0 and flash1).
    6. Extract Devhook 0.44 again and overwrite everything in the dh folder (its going to be a couple of .txt which include the path for the prx's)
    7. Get a decompressed 2.71 reboot.bin from here. (Second entry. We cannot host the file on our servers since it's copyrighted)
    8. Place reboot.bin in ms0:dh271reboot.bin"

That all seems reasonably easy, but I am not sure if I will try it. I do have PBP unpacker installed on my PC, I used it for custom eboots for those run umd 3 folder games.

Does anyone have the decrypted reboot.bin file from the 2.71 Decrypter or the decrypted Flash1 files from 2.60 Firmware(reboot.bin, system.ireg and system.dreg) or a link to these.

Have a look on Maxconsole, I think I have seen some stuff about it on there. Could you get one using a 2.71 eboot and that Darx_Alex decrypter programme? Can't remember the name of it offhand.

What do I do when it loads cuz all I see is a black screen with white writing and it says Auto Run in the middle. Does that mean all the files are in the right places. Did it load right?

i got it running thanks to the full installer but i have some problems.

say i set it up to run an iso file...system reboots and iso loads. when im done with the iso file is there a way i can swap to playing a game i own (play an actual UMD disc) without having to shutdown the psp, resetup devhook to run from umd disc and restart again? Is there just a way to swap between running disc and iso easily?

as of now if im playing from an iso and quit playing (return to HOME) i scroll down to devhook program and try to open it i get a corruption error message (not only that but there are three corruption files listed below devhook, with a lightning bolt icon). if no iso has been loaded (running from 1.5 firmware)i can enter devhook settings and adjust them. is it not possible to adjust settings when you are running in emulated firmware mode? what am i doing wrong
