I go to properties of My Computer, click hardware tab ->Device Manager and it tries to open it, but it shows an Internet Explorer error message. I understand enough to know IE has nothing to do with it, yet it shows up as an IE error page. How do I get it to show up my devices so I can update my drivers? Pls help, thanks.
Try start>control panel>administrative tools>computer management and click on Device Manager on the left.
