    Hi All,
My burner will burn about 28-80 % done then I get an error saying the device had been removed. Then my burner will not open unless I turn off my CPU. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Internal or external burner? What are you burning? You know, some information is needed.

Internal pioneer dvr 111D. When I try to burn movies or data. This happens. I am have a compaq, it's a couple years old. I have 10 gig disk space, plus an external hard drive, 120 gig. I have used nero vso dvd x copy. None work.

Where are you saving the ripped files? That 10GB left could be causing a problem if it is less than 10% of the total partition capacity.

BTW, that drive is pretty good. I got one for my son, when he visited him a little over a month ago. There have been a ton of firmware updates for it, so check Pioneer's website.

My internal drive is only 20 gigs. What can I do to fix this?

Get a larger hard drive. No mystery there.
