What the title said. Did you import a xbox with the same region as your country(exe-PAL, NTSC...)? I was wondering because I want to import a xbox 360 from the UK to Australia but Im not sure if the games would work on it when they come out here in Asutralia.

the answer is yes. If you get your hardware from the uk it will work fine here in australia although of course you will need an adapter for the power cord. The uk uses the same format as australia so you'll be able to play aussie games on a uk box.

it relates to money. in different countries, the economy is different, so the prices have to be different to sell products. example: in russia, most things are cheaper than in the US. that's why music companies throw a hissy fit when americans download music from russian sites, where 2 dollars is nothing here and it's a nice chunk of change there. by keeping the parts proprietary to different countries, corporations can control who gets what and for what price to maximize their profits. its an evil, deviant, greedy system, and it's certainly not what jesus would do... that's why i'm planning on killing them all! MWAHAHAHAH! XD
