I recently purchased an HDTV that does not support HDMI... It only has a DVI connection...

It seems as thought most new devices are going with the HDMI.. I didn't know that at the time..

Is this going to be a problem for me.. Do I have an HDTV that I cant watch High def movies on because I only have a DVI connection.

For example the Playstation 3 has the HDMI connection.. Will my TV still be able to show the quality blue ray movies have if I purchased a hdmi to dvi cable?

FYI the tv go's up to 1080i

    Thanks

@ICON007 ... sorry I didn't see this sooner; you're fine buddy, you need only go to radio shack or a similar place and buy dvi/hdmi adaptor but you'll need to run an optiical or coax cable along with it for the digital sound. It's no biggie...happens all the time. In fact, I think I had to do it myself between my Oppo (DVI) and my TV (HDMI).

DVI and HDMI carry the same video signal. The only difference is that HDMI also carries an audio signal.
