I Instaled DVDXCOPY platinum 4.0.3 and it wasn't working right. A friend suggested that I uninstal it and reinstal it after i shut down my McAfee program. So I did and now when I reinstalled it it says "The alotted number of activations has been used for this license." Does this mean I just screwed myself and now I can no longer use this program?

Unforchenetly without a valid code you will not be able to use the software even thou you have a valid code it's still not working, I've heard of a few people this has happened 2 but i don't think any of them had any luck getting it to work.

Thanks guys for the help. I'm not sure what I did but it started working again, but my problem is still there. :-( The problem I am having is it reads the disk just fine, but when it ask me to put in a black disk it wont recognize it. My drive goes from a dvd-rw drive to a CD drive when I put a black dvd disk in. Any suggestions?

Just remember use firmware at your own risk, it can solve many a problems but it can also create many problems.

So, is firmware my only option? I don't want to try it if it's going to create more problems for me.
