OK before th playlist update, I was using a bridge to force host. Not to cheat, only to get host. It worked perfect all the time. Now it seems like 50% of the time it does not give my player host. Was there a change in the Live IP addresses? I am using ranges so I don't know if that is what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Yes they changed. There is one now. Its all over commviem. If you log onto live and are in menu, its the only ip on there (if you are capturing from the right LAN anyway)
I tried that...I added my buddies IP and the xbl/bungie IP and set the Internet security zone to high and it gave someone else host.
Was your buddy the party leader? And did You join HIS party. You have to do it like that. Put your network in Internet Zone instead of Trusted also, see if that helps. This is how I have it and it works everytime.

No problem, glad to help. But if you ever see me (Irishdrunkass) don't boot me. I was a 33 back before the first update that changed melee/grenades, and am anywhere between 35 and 39 now. I only boot cheaters.
A 33 before the update?!?!?!? That's amazing. Anyway I don't boot people. I only force host so I don't get standbyed. I don't even have a bridging partner so I can't even boot cheaters. If you want to play some legit games, send me a PM and I will give you my Gamertag. I bounce around in between 37-32. Right now I am a 32 due to this mishap I had with the bridge....got cheated a lot.
