when the system first when into effect, i was given the impression by whichever admin it was (drd, i believe) that posts in All Other Topics no longer counted towards rank, just as in the Safety Valve. that makes more sense to me than not having the system set that way, but i suppose i could be wrong. checking with an admin would be the best solution, but seeing as how dog gamned lazy i am, i'll just go on believing i'm right. ^.^
