Hello I have been using Taiyo Yuden 8x 4.7gb DVD's for years now...

I would like to use 8.5gb for my larger sized movies but I cant find TY's in that size...

So my question is hands down which is the best dual layer or double layer DVD's to use, and what is the difference between the two?

    Thanks...

That would be Verbatim 2.4X +R DL MISingapore. Sams Club has a stack of 50 for $60US

TY has just issued DL TYs. I think the jury is still out on them.

    Thanks for the reply..

I was guessing Verbatim...But I don't have Sams Club here in North California, I buy all my media on supermediastore.com

Also is there a difference between dual layer or double layer or is it the same?
