I have a 57" Sony HD TV. I'm considering buying a camcorder, possibly a Panasonic PV-GS59 or a PV-GS300. Will I see a very noticeable difference between a camcorder with a single CCD and a camcorder with 3 CCD's? I'd rather not pay $200.- more if I'm not going to notice much difference. Thanks in advance!

Generally speaking, the 3 CCD camcorders will give you better colour separation. "Very noticable" is very subjective as some will say yes and others no.

Also, the effective pixels makes a difference in the quality of the video.

However, neither of those models will come close to a true HD Camcorder for video quality on your HDTV.

Try checking out the CNET.com reviews for camcorders.
