Hi all, is there any difference between blank cdr with digital audio cds written on them and the one without? Does it produce better quality sound if the digital audio cd is used?

? Well, basically you have only 2 types of CDs. Pre-pressed or not pre-pressed (writeable) CDs. If you are wondering what's the difference between pre-pressed CD's audio quality and writeable CDs audio quality then basically there is no difference if the burning process of the writeable CD went perfectly (and of course that the actual pressing process of the pre-pressed CD went perfectly as well). Remember, the audio stored in these CDs is a series of 1s and 0s so if the both CDs have the same content they will have the same audio quality too.

The burned CD will die in about 2-5 years. Also there is a little tracking strip inside them (just under the serial#) So the RIAA cand drive around and scan houses to see what music you've stolen. There is talk of making it an icindary strip so they can just burn your house down.
