Yes, but all tvs will be watching the same channel. All you need is something like a 4 way splitter on the receiver output. If the cable runs are somewhat long you may need to get an amplified 4 way splitter. Radio Shack has both types. I have an amplified switch bank with 3 inputs (cable, Sat TV and dvd player) going back out to 7 tv's. I can switch any of the 3 inputs to any or all of the 7 tv's. Example: I can watch cable on 4 tv's and Sat on 3 tv's if necessary.

The receiver output should be analog back to the TV. The only way to get multiple different channels is with more receivers. No easy way around it.

Just a guess but it sounds like your main line in is digital signal ONLY. Some companies transmit both digital and analog on the same cable. If that were the case your bedroom tv would still receive the lower channels 2 through about 70. If it is straight digital then you can only receive channels with another box or a TV that has a digital tuner built in. I think this is your problem.

jerry, i do get the other channels working from time to time like in a month i will be able to watch all the channels from 1 thru 99 once for a week and then it will just be gone after a whole week of connection and then next month again. i think my cable is digital anything i can do to hook up my bedroom and kids room? is there some sort of device i can buy or maybe a cable box i can buy that would let me watch channels 1-99 without getting the cable box from komkast? pls help and thank you.

The fact that you at times get the channels is whats confusing. If it was true digital you wouldn't get them at all without a box. Almost sounds like a bad connection but hard to say. They still sell the old style cable descrambler boxes that go up to at least ch 99., but I'm worried that you may still get the intermitten problem with one of those. Just do a google search for cable descramblers and you should get many hits. Since most of those systems are out dated you should get one cheap like under $100. The tuner part should still work, its the descrambling part thats out dated.

The big cable companies simalcast Digital and Analog signals just like over the air broadcasts. When the full signal is passed through a cable box (or QAM tuner) the digital information is used. When it full signal passes through a normal NTSC tuner the analog info is used.

Also, I think all of the big cable companies Comcast, Time Warner, ect... have swithed to the new all digital tiers, meaning that the channels that use to be exclusively analog (3-69; 99-129) are now broadcast digitally aswell.

@diabolos, I'm aware of the companies transmitting both digital and analog at the same time. My concern with his problem is that he is just splitting the main line and only gets 1-30 most of the time. But he also states at times he get the higher channels up to 99 without a box. To my knowledge, I don't know of any company that would keep switching channels 1-99 between analog and digital the way he is receiving them. Like I stated it sounds like a problem on the line somewhere. With intermitten problems like that its all guess work until you find out for sure. I would hate to see him pay $100. for a tuner and still only get 1-30.

jerry, so would i be better of doing the email that you sent me in private regarding free satellite? coz that would also cost me a $100 min right and plus this is a sure thing rather than buying a cable descramblers right? pls advise and thank you.

Nothing in that type of system is 100% perfect. DN is changing the dish encryption as we speak right now. The FTA boxes are loosing channels because of this. We all hope in a week or so they will be FIXED again but nothing is certain. Its all like a game and we just have to play it right. Getting the cable line working right would be better since you wouldn't need any extra tuners on the other TVs. Even with my FTA setup I still have cable TV channels 1 through 70 and its split into every room of my house to other TVs. That would be the best solution.
