I have a Sony camera about 4 years old. The video is only 640x480 Resolution but, it does a nice job for my needs.
The video it makes is a muxed .mpeg format. I can play them and convert them fine in Quicktime but, I have a few that don't want to open. They say they are corrupted. I can open them and watch them in other viewers ok but, no export in these programs.

Is there any way to save the video. I know they play well but, not in the program I use to convert.

    Any help, appreciated!

    OH...BTW I am on Mac G5 PowerPC OSX 10.5.x.

    Thanks!

Try opening the file with Avidemux.
Set video and audio to "copy", set format to "mpeg-ps (A+V)",
and save the file. You must include the suffix in the file name -
    eg. my_file.mpg
