hi I bought this dvd recorder a while back but now i am having problems. I use standard dvd+r memorex disks and they record fine but when i put them on seprate dvd player or my ps2 they play well until the middle and more specifically the end where it starts speeding up and the picture jumps and then it becomes unwatchable. The audio is gone it skips and then its pretty unwatchable. but on the digital max it plays fine! whats wrong with my dvd players or with my disks?.
Check the packaging of the DVD disks if they are made in Taiwan or Hong Kong they are junk. For some odd reason they seem to mate with the burner that burned them, but my experience with DVD disks is that they will eventually fizzle on that recorder as well. Download DVD info Pro. It can tell you who the Manufacture is, What speed it is, etc. My advice to is get you some Taiyo Yuden DVD media from Supermediastore.com or Meritline.com. If and when you get DVD info.
