digital or analog (sony)

    I have a video camera "Sony handycam Hi8 ccd-tr728e"

    I dont know ,if this model is digital or analog.
    Can anyone tell me this.

    I can't find the specs for this camcorder but Hi8 is analog.

    thank you for the answer.

    Can I use the yellow connector on the backside off
    my computer. It is a dell 4600. ?
    Or shall I have a special PCI card mounted ?

    (On the video camera there are a yellow and black connector.
    Yellow for video and black for audio.)

    I have the software pinaccle studio 10 installed.

    This depends on if the video card you own is a capture card or not. Almost all Dells do not come with capture cards standard so it is more than likely composite video out and can not be used for capturing. You will have to get a capture card or an external USB converter.
