Digital TV help

    Hi I have sony HD tv which has digital tv, when i scan for digital channels it says 0 services found i'm using a virgin media, cable.
    Could somebody please give some advice

    think ya may need a digital box from virgin

    why do I need a digital box when the tv is has digital TV all i need to do is scan but it shows up as no services found
